My dear Zakir,
I received your letter yesterday. Thanks a lot for this. I am well. Hope you are also keeping well. You have wanted to know about the last Annual prize giving ceremony of our college. Now I am giving you a short description of it. Every year our college holds a prize-giving ceremony. The last ceremony was held on Friday last. The college buildings were decorated nicely. Our Principal presided over the joyful ceremony. The D.C was the chief guest of the function. The function started (began) at. 10 am with our national Anthem. At first our Principal read out the Annual progress report of the college. Then the recitation began . Next, the chief guest gave away prizes among the winners. After-that chief guest thanked all the winners and made a short speech about the importance of cultural activities, sports and games in our life. Our Vice Principal also spoke about the value of cultural activities in our real life. At last our Principal made a concluding speech and declared the end of the ceremony . I returned home with a happy and cheerful mood. No more today.
